This Sawyer, Michigan home was experiencing some shifting in the cinder block foundation. Niles Goodman decided the basement would need to be supported with 18 Fortress Carbon Fiber Straps and 6 Wall Anchors with Nova Plates. This would guarantee a life-time transferable warranty.
While initially concerned with stabilizing her foundation, this customer decided to also move forward with an Egress window, glass block windows, and WaterGuard.
We installed seven wall anchors to this Benton Harbor, Michigan foundation. The cinderblock foundation began to bow in over time, and this was the perfect solution to stabilize those basement walls.
Small hairline cracks in a poured foundation can be a problem if they leak groundwater into your basement or crawl space. We can correct that issue with an Epoxy Crack Injection.
To prevent water getting into a basement through a foundation crack, we grind and prep the wall for the injection, we install injection ports, and inject the crack with epoxy. This cost includes a second visit to cut off injection ports, seal ports, and reseal the surface of the entire crack with an additional layer of epoxy.
