Sometimes you can barely tell that our crew have even been to your home. This 25 foot Underground Downspout was almost undetectable when our guys finished up!
This Valparaiso, Indiana resident had an HVAC company take care of a plumbing issue and they let her know that she had high levels of humidity and condensation in her crawlspace. They recommended she call us and give her a free estimate for the repairs that would be needed. Our System Design Specialist, Niles Goodman, found the best solution was to sink Drain Tile into the dirt, add a layer of CleanSpace Encapsulation, dehumidify the space with an AprilAire, and discharge ground water with a TripleSafe Sump pump.
We installed a WaterGuard system to drain the hollow cinderblocks of the water buildup that was occurring.
This basement would experience seepage at the cove joint. We broke out the floor and laid our waterproofing track, WaterGuard. This track guides water to a sump pump where it is then ejected from the home.
This is a look at the process it takes to install an Underground Downspout. Nova Basement Systems went underneath this customer's sidewalk with drain tile.
