Challenge

This Granger, Indiana customer called us because their crawlspace would get standing water.

Solution

The best solution for this homeowner was to install a super sump system in the northwest corner of the home, running a drain tile through the center of a crawlspace to collect water and tie to the sump. In the Southwest corner we would install a three foot concrete under footer filling the void left from the construction of the house. After the Drain Tile is installed, we would then lay drainage matting over the dirt floor to flash water to the center of the crawlspace and downhill to the sump pump, and finally install CleanSpace encapsulation liner on all foundation walls as well as the floor taping and caulking all joints and seams.

This is before our crew began work. Water would puddle in the low corner of the crawlspace.

Our technicians dug a trench to prepare for the Drain Tile installation, and set the SuperSump pit into the ground.

They then laid the filter cloth and the tile into the ground.

The crew then laid stone over the Drain Tile and around the SuperSump pump.

Our team laid Drainage Matting along the floor to aide in directing water to the SuperSump.

Notice the Urethane beading along the top of the wall to affix the CleanSpace to the foundation.

The team fastened the CleanSpace to the crawlspace entry with fasteners and urethane, for a nice clean look.

This picture is the finished crawlspace project, with CleanSpace lining the floor and walls, and the SuperSump set into the ground.
