WaterGuard (Before)
In order to stop groundwater from seeping onto the basement floor, we jackhammered out the concrete along perimeter area. We hauled away the old concrete and related debris, and dug a trench, where we laid out filter cloth to minimize sediment getting into system. We laid the WaterGuard system (including clean-out ports) on the foundation footing, and backfilled the trench with river rock stone. We then mortared back the floor. Their system will drain into an existing sump pit.
