WaterGuard Solution
In order to control moisture from the cove joint of the wall and the floor at the perimeter of the basement, we broke out the concrete floor, and drilled weep holes into the cinderblock. This will drain the wall at the cove joint so we can control where the water enters the home. We then installed drainage stone and the WaterGuard system to the trench, and concreted over the system. The SuperSump pump was plumbed to the back corner of the home and discharged to the outside, through an Iceguard and a buried drain tile 12 feet away from the house by the fence, terminating in a drywell box and drainage stone.
