HOW HE GOT HERE TODAY....

Jim Nova started his basement waterproofing and foundation repair company while he was a building trades teacher at LaPorte High School. Jim has 20 years teaching experience in the construction trade and still maintains college and vocational instructors licenses in building trades.  

Jim has built numerous houses through his years as a teacher and on his own. He has 40 years experience in construction and mechanical trade, which led him to concentrate on finding economic solutions for waterproofing and stabilizing deteriorating basements. He carries a current contractors license in the states ofMichigan andIndiana.

The company was operated out of his home in 1977 and has grown to 20,000 square foot facility located in LaPorte. He believes the growth of his company is largely due to customer referrals and his reputation in the community. After 32 years, Jim Nova has not only received several achievement awards, but has been recognized for his years of service in foundation repair and waterproofing industries.

Today Jim continues his education by earning training certificates in structural repairs, waterproofing techniques and conducts seminars for home inspectors, engineers and realtors. Jim Nova takes great pride in customer satisfaction for every job.
